 Updated Terms & Conditions for Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC Retreats as of July 13, 2024

Because of our small size, and the nature of our bookings any cancellations or date changes affect us, our partners, and our other guests… significantly. Any cancellation or date change affords us little to no chance of rebooking. As such, we do not allow any cancellations or refunds, under any circumstances. However, you are welcome to send someone of your own choosing to take your place.

Being that we’re an international destination, with a primarily international clientele it’s important to note that travel restrictions are always a possibility.

In the event that we have to cancel your reservation due to any circumstance, we will reschedule to a new date at your earliest convenience. Fees cannot be refunded for any reason, including if classes or reservations are missed due to illness, travel issues, government mandated travel bans, acts of God, etc.

We’ll repeat this one more time. No refunds are ever offered, under any circumstances, for any reasons. 

If this risk gives you pause, Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC highly recommends that you purchase trip insurance from your travel advisor or your insurance provider.

Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC shall be under no liability whatsoever, for any loss, injury or damage to guests or their property, whether in respect of any neglect, act or omission by its partners or consultants. Basically? You are responsible for your own well-being, and we cannot be held liable for injuries or death due to your activities on the property or city and activities.

If a guest is considered by Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC to be a danger to themselves or our staff, the guest may be required to leave, either immediately or within a specified time at the discretion of the staff of Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC and will not receive a refund (we’ve never had to do this).

All are welcome on our retreats and we will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, national origin, genetic information, or any other characteristic.

Unless otherwise stated, all retreats are available only to people of 18 years or older. It may be possible to accommodate younger guests with prior approval from Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC but this is only on a case by case basis. Please inquire before booking.

Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC reserve the right, under unavoidable circumstances, to alter the timing or content of any course or of the curriculum and to substitute any stylist or  instructor or to cancel a course at any time without refund. If this occurs, we will reschedule you as soon as possible.

All itineraries are just possibilities, and represent the current way we are approaching the trip. Things may change. We make every effort to provide this exact experience, but the nature of the beast–visiting things that aren't typical tourist destinations– might mean we have to change plans. Even last minute. You can always opt-out of an outing, nothing is required. But we don't provide refunds if you miss meals, events, excursions, etc. due to personal choice or other circumstances.

All products ​are owned and provided by Company. These Terms and Conditions of Use govern and define how You are allowed to use and access Company’s Offering. YOUR​ ​PRODUCT​ ​OR​ ​COURSE​ ​USE​ ​AND​ ​CONSENT

When You purchased Our Offering, You were given a reasonable notice that these Terms and Conditions of Use existed. By moving forward with Your purchase of the Offering and further access of the Offering, You implicitly agreed and continue to agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions of Use, as well as any disclaimers and privacy disclosures contained in these Terms and Conditions of Use.

You agree You are at least 18 years old or of the age of majority in Your applicable jurisdiction to access the Offering. Access of Our Offering and related materials by a minor is a violation of use, and We reserve the right to terminate Your access if such an issue is discovered.

FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

In exchange for participating in the Melissa Chataigne, LLC workout and related activities hosted by Melissa Chataigne Style, LLC and its affiliates, I agree to this Release with an assumption of risk and release of liability against Melissa Chataigne, LLC and grant Melissa Chataigne permission to use my Appearance as detailed below.

I understand that the Event may involve potentially hazardous activities and by participating I  may be exposed to a variety of hazards and risks (foreseen and unforeseen) that may result in personal injury that are inherent in the Event. I know that injuries can occur by natural causes or activities of other persons, other Event participants, or third parties, either as a result of negligence or because of other reasons. I understand that risks of such injuries and damages are involved in workout activities that may be at the Event, and I appreciate that I may have to exercise extra care for my own person around me in the face of such hazards.

I also understand that photographs, videos, and other recordings may be taken at the Event by Melissa Chataigne and/or third-party reporters, for the purpose of use in marketing and other commercial activities, and agree to such recording and use.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY. For the Event, and the services provided by Melissa Chataigne, LLC for the Event, I confirm my understanding that:

1. I will not participate in the Event unless I am and medically able to do so. I am is in good health and am aware of no medical condition, whether physical or mental, that would increase the risk of injury to me that would create a medical emergency should I be injured. BY participating YOU AGREE YOU ARE VACCINATED OR HAVE TESTED NEGATIVE FOR COVID IN 24 HOURS.

2. I ASSUME ALL RISKS AND DANGERS associated with the Event, including the possibility of personal injury, property damage or loss resulting therefrom. This assumption of risk extends to all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever, foreseen and not foreseen, known and unknown.

3. I agree to HOLD HARMLESS Melissa Chataigne,LLC its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agent and anyone else directly or indirectly connected with Melissa Chataigne,LLC including without limitation Melissa Chataigne,LLC  sponsors, ambassadors and photographers (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any claims, damages, injuries, death, property damage or losses relating in any way to my participation in the Event and related activities, whether caused by MY OWN NEGLIGENCE OR THE NEGLIGENCE OF OTHERS.

4. I agree to release the Released Parties from ANY AND ALL LIABILITY relating in any way to my participation in the Event and related transportation, including, without limitation, claims relating to injury, death, property damage, losses or any other adverse effect I might sustain in connection with my participation in the Event, even if caused by NEGLIGENCE of the Released Parties.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY NOTICE

All images, text, designs, graphics, trademarks, and service marks are owned by and property of Company, or the properly attributed party. It is a violation of federal law to use any of Our intellectual property in whole or in part, and modification of any materials contained on this site is illegal and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent permissible should We choose to do so, including asking for financial penalties (damages) and/or an injunction forcing You to stop using Our intellectual property immediately.

You may NOT use Our intellectual property in any way, which includes republishing any text, image, design, or other property on another website, or posting a quote or image from Our site to any third-party website including social media. We have spent a great deal of time and money building the intellectual property located on this site and in order to maintain the integrity of it, We cannot allow any third party use.

PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

You agree to provide current, accurate and complete details as requested to process your payment. If necessary, You agree to update your payment information in a timely manner so We can complete any outstanding orders and/or contact You as needed.

We reserve the right to change our prices for new purchases at any time.

You agree to pay any applicable shipping and/or handling fees as stated on your checkout cart screen.

ERRORS OR MISTAKES IN PRICING

We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes in pricing, even if We have already received payment. Any such changes will be conveyed in writing via email to notify You of Our correction and to allow You to take the most appropriate action in the event of such a correction or mistake.

REFUNDS AND RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature of the services and/or products provided, refunds will not be given. ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL.

PROMOTIONAL PRICING DEVICES AND PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

We are not able to accommodate a price adjustment after Your purchase.

CHARGEBACKS

​​You agree to make every attempt to file a refund prior to attempting a chargeback with Your financial institution. In the event of a chargeback attempt, You expressly agree to forfeit any and all of Our bonuses, affiliate bonuses, or other materials afforded to You in exchange for Your original purchase of Our Offering. We reserve the right to present proof of Your access and these Terms and Conditions of Use to the financial institution investigating the dispute.

REVOCATION​ ​OF​ ​ACCESS

​You have the unilateral right to terminate Your use and access to any of Our Offering(s). Please send an email to Us to initiate this process. Termination will not excuse You of further payment. Upon confirmation of Your termination, any and all outstanding balances will become immediately due and payable.
